Chess is not just a game for our students, it is structured practice in patience, planning and calm decision making. Here is how we teach it.
Coach matching, not coach roulette
We match your child with a coach by age, level, goals and learning style, and we will change the coach if the fit is not right.
Live classes, never recordings
Every class is a live session with a real coach who asks questions, watches the thinking and corrects habits in the moment.
Flexible global time slots
Coaches teach across Indian, Gulf, UK, US and Asia-Pacific time zones, so classes fit around school and homework.
1:1 or small level-matched groups
Choose personal attention or a small group where every child is at a similar level, so nobody is bored or lost.
A structured five-stage curriculum
From board setup to tournament preparation, each stage has clear outcomes, practice work and a milestone to reach.
Homework, puzzles and game analysis
Curated puzzles between classes, practice games, and coach-led review of your child's own games, where real improvement happens.
Friendly internal tournaments
Low-pressure academy tournaments let children apply what they learn before entering rated events.
Progress you can actually see
Skill assessments, parent updates and certificates awarded for demonstrated milestones, not for attendance.

A learning journey with a visible finish line at every stage
Every child follows a five-stage path. Each stage has its own outcomes, practice work and a milestone they must actually demonstrate before moving on.

Parent questions, answered
What age can my child start chess classes?
Most children start comfortably between 5 and 7 years old, and we teach up to 16. Younger beginners work best in shorter, playful 1:1 sessions; older children usually move faster and can join group classes sooner.
Does my child need to know how to play already?
No. Our First Moves course starts from the board and the pieces. If your child already plays, the free demo includes a friendly assessment so we can place them at the right stage.
Is the demo class really free?
Yes. The demo is a live class with a coach, there is no payment required and no card details are collected. If it is not the right fit, there is nothing to cancel.
What happens in the free demo?
The coach meets your child, plays and talks through a few positions to understand their level, explains how classes work, and then shares a recommended stage and schedule with you.
1:1 or group classes, which is better?
1:1 suits children who need a fully personalised pace, have specific goals, or are preparing for tournaments. Small group classes suit children who enjoy learning alongside peers at the same level and are a lower-cost way to build a regular habit.
What do you need at home?
A laptop, tablet or desktop with a stable internet connection, headphones, and ideally a physical board for practice. Classes run on standard video calling with an online board.
Which time zones do you teach in?
We schedule classes for families in India, the Gulf, the UK, Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. Tell us your preferred window in the demo request and we will offer matching slots.
Can we reschedule a class?
Yes. Give us reasonable notice and we will move the class to another slot with your coach where availability allows.
Do you guarantee ratings or tournament results?
No, and we would be careful of anyone who does. We guarantee structured teaching, honest feedback and measurable progress against our curriculum milestones.
Is the learning environment safe for children?
Classes are encouraging and pressure-free, and parents are welcome to sit in at any time. We communicate with the parent, not the child, and we do not ask children to submit personal information.
