Plain-English explanation of what we collect when you request a demo class, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Knightly Chess Academy provides live online chess classes for children. If you have any question about your data, contact us at hello@learnwithknightly.com or on +91 80053 28145.
What we collect
When you request a demo class we collect the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, the child's age, their approximate chess level, your location or time zone, your preferred class format and any message you write.
We also record the country our servers detect from your connection so we can show prices in the right currency, and a timestamp of your consent.
We do not ask for the child's full name, school, address, photographs or any payment details on this website.
Why we use it
To contact you about the demo class you requested, to match your child with a suitable coach, and to answer follow-up questions about scheduling or pricing.
We rely on your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box on the enquiry form.
Who can see it
Enquiries are stored in our secure database and are readable only by the academy administrator. Coaches receive only the details needed to run your demo class.
We use service providers to send our notification emails and WhatsApp messages. They process the data only to deliver those messages.
We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted within 24 months. If your child enrols, we keep contact details for as long as they are a student and for 24 months afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email hello@learnwithknightly.com with your enquiry reference number and we will action the request within 30 days.
You may withdraw consent at any time; we will then stop contacting you and remove your enquiry.
Children's privacy
This website is designed for parents and guardians, not children. Enquiries must be submitted by an adult with parental responsibility. Children never create accounts on this site.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Only the technical storage needed to run the site and, for administrators, to keep them signed in is used.
