Terms of service
These terms apply when you book a demo class, enrol a child, or otherwise use www.learnwithknightly.com. Please read them alongside our privacy notice and our cancellations and refunds policy.
Who we are
Knightly Chess Academy provides live online chess coaching for children. You can reach us at hello@learnwithknightly.com.
Bookings and enrolment
A demo class is free and carries no obligation. Enrolment is confirmed once a schedule is agreed and the first payment for the agreed block of classes is received. A parent or legal guardian must make the booking for any child under 18.
Payments and pricing
Prices shown on the site are per class in the currency of the region you select, and may change over time. The price confirmed to you at enrolment applies for the block you have paid for. Taxes are charged where required by local law.
Attendance and rescheduling
We ask for reasonable notice to move a class, and we will offer an alternative slot where coach availability allows. Classes missed without notice are treated as taught. If we need to cancel a class, we reschedule it or credit it in full.
Conduct in class
Classes are a safe, respectful space for children. We may pause or end coaching where behaviour by a student or an adult in the household makes that impossible, and we will explain the reason to the parent.
What we do and do not promise
We commit to qualified coaching, a structured curriculum and honest feedback. We do not guarantee ratings, titles, tournament placings or any other competitive outcome, since those depend on the student's own practice and play.
Materials
Course materials shared with you are for your child's personal learning. Please do not redistribute or resell them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the academy changes. If an update materially affects enrolled families, we will tell them by email before it takes effect.
