Private 1:1 online chess coaching
One coach, one child, 45 minutes. Private coaching is the right choice when a child needs a pace of their own, whether that is slower because a concept has not landed, or faster because they are ahead of every group we could put them in.

Private coaching suits children with a specific goal, an unusual profile, or a schedule that will not hold a fixed group slot.
- Preparing for a specific tournament or school team trial.
- Strong in tactics but weak in endgames, or the reverse.
- Needs more thinking time than a group can give.
- Wants their own games analysed every week.
Game analysis is the core of it
The most valuable part of private coaching is reviewing the child's own losses. The coach replays the position, stops before the mistake, and asks what they were thinking, which is where habits actually change.
Scheduling
1:1 slots are easier to move than group slots. Reschedule with reasonable notice and we will find another time with the same coach where availability allows.
Common questions
- How much does 1:1 coaching cost?
- Per-class pricing is published in your local currency on the pricing page. The demo class is free either way.
- Can we switch between 1:1 and group later?
- Yes. Some families use 1:1 to close a specific gap and then move to a group for the regular habit.
